Personal Profile
My research interests are mainly in the areas of international economics and agricultural policy. Current research activities include WTO trade negotiations, regional trade cooperation and and computable general equilibrium (CGE) modelling. I have previously held full-time academic positions at Brock University and the University of Saskatchewan in Canada. I have been on short-term assignments in Japan (Tokyo-Keizei University), Indonesia (Jakarta Institute of Management Studies), Bangladesh (North South University) and Thailand (Mekong Institute).
I currently serve as the Coordinator of postgraduate programmes in Economics. I also coordinate Wednesday economics seminar series in the school. Since 2001, I am the course controller of Massey’s Executive MBA economics paper.
